The purpose of the Tinkling Spring web site is to support the mission and ministry of Jesus Christ and the Tinkling Spring Presbyterian Church and to provide services and resources to meet the needs of the congregation and greater Church community.

The Communications Committee reports directly to the Diaconate and acts as the "steward" of the web site on behalf of Tinkling Spring Presbyterian Church, located at 30 Tinkling Spring Drive, Fishersville, Virginia and its outreach ministries. The site administrator is selected by the Communication Committee, staff and church members, with final approval made by the Diaconate.

Program areas (including missions, sister churches and other outreach programs) are encouraged to submit information to the Communications Committee for inclusion on the web site. When doing so, please target primary efforts toward specific needs of those visiting the site.

The Communications Committee will avoid using names, images and content in offensive ways and will seek permission when possible before posting. Any names appearing in the bulletin, newsletter or other church publications will appear in the web version of those documents; however, care will be taken to remove personal addresses and phone numbers and will only use the first name with the last initial on the web site.

It is the intention of the church to use various images and graphics on the web site including pictures of children. For individual photos of children only older pictures will be used unless prior permission is received from parents or guardians. Recent group shots of children may be used; however, names will not be associated with group or individual photos. If anyone whose name or picture may appear on the site has objections, please notify the Committee at once and the name and/or picture will be removed.
